How do I get my HTML code links to work on my myspace profile?

Hey Im using an overlay and I can get my image to display, (essientially its just a large image with linkable areas) I created it in photoshop and then put it in dreamweaver to add the links. I put the code in my myspace and it displays but the links lead to invalid ID pages. The code is too large to display but i can give you a snippet so you see it:

%26lt;area shape="rect" coords="-3,0,376,353" href="http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/in... /%26gt; this is the link that is over my profle picture to take it to view more pictures, when you click it tho it says Invalid Friend ID which its not because thats my ID. I put the same image into Fireworks and then added buttons and then exported it to dreamweaver and then I had to take every image into photobucket but the links did work (same links as from the first code) but with buttons this time it worked. However, when I placed the code in my myspace it was spread out and not together. What do I do?

the problem is with he dreamweaver coding, when it codes it it makes it expecting you to have the photos on a server which will upload it. So it only uses part of the address to try and improve security. So try uploading all the images to something like photo bucket and then redo all the url's, also you will have to type of the links again.

I had the same problem but I did it straight from photoshop, so, I don't have fireworks and have never been on it so cant help there but try adding in the links when you put the code into myspace rather than before. It took me ages as well and remember that myspace won't accept any java script that dream weaver adds in.

I will try and help you more if your problem is not solved

if the link is actually taking you someplace, I.E the invalid friend Id page, there might be something wrong with the actual url.

If you didn't copy and paste it from the browser, do that, because you might have missed something.

If not, I have absolutely no clue whats going on.
