Having trouble with HTML code for layout for myspace?

I tried two different sites for the layout generator I can use to put on my myspace page but neither helped. I copied and pasted the HTML code given to me and pasted it in the "About Me" section as instructed but nothing is working. Only where the layout generator is from (name of site) is shown on the left hand top side of the page but that's it. No background, no colors, no cursor etc... What's wrong?

make sure when copying and pasting code once your done make sure and save it or it wont stay there
