Can you see a future with this guy? I mean a lasting marriage with kids. Did he hurt you 5 years ago? Would you be able to trust him completely? If you think there's a chance of a future with him, see him. If not, don't waste your time and energy.

Don't ever ever convince yourself that you have downgraded and gotten uglier. That'll only make you feel bad, you didn't anyway. Of course you'd change a little bit, that's coz you get older, you should've seen that coming -- just like everyone else.

As for adding your ex, add him if you want to. Don't even worry about what he'll think. Being worried about only means one thing -- you still like him, which is understandable coz he's your first love. But don't let him find that out, he'll only think you're tryna impress him.
